In the past, there were many card manufacturers producing many and various cards and designs, some unique to their area of the world. Now as card manufacturers centralize some of that variety is being lost and other decks are more difficult to come by.
Jean de Lorraine Cartes à Jouer formed to help make some of these more unique and historic decks available as well as to create new decks in the tradition of the old master card makers.
