Marginalia is an ECG set in the medieval era. In it, you play as a monk who has learned through the Ars Notoria (a medieval magic manuscript promising all knowledge) how to bring your margin drawings back to life.
In Marginalia the goal is to bring your opponent's life total to zero, or to have them run out of cards, first. This is accomplished by means of playing marginalia and incantations. Marginalia are little drawings that are played to different lanes and battle lines which are then used to attack your opponent or their own marginalia.
